barter sets exactly one cookie. This page says what it is, plainly, rather than listing categories that do not apply here.
The cookie we set

It is httpOnly (invisible to any script running on the page, including third-party ones) and sameSite=lax (not sent on cross-site requests, which is what stops another site quietly riding on your signed-in session). It holds nothing beyond a session identifier — no tracking data, no advertising identifier, no profile.
Cookies set by our host
barter runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set its own cookies at the network edge for security and performance reasons — for example, to distinguish a legitimate request from an automated attack. These are set and controlled by Cloudflare as our hosting provider, not by barter's application code.
barter_session exists solely to keep you signed in, which you cannot do without it, so it falls under the "strictly necessary" exemption and needs no consent banner. If that ever changes — if we add analytics or any non-essential cookie — this page and a consent mechanism will change with it.
